Darlene Baker has turned her passion for interior decorating into her own business in association with the Decor & You team. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Darlene graduated with a degree in Accounting from Chattanooga State College. For several years she resided in both Augusta and Macon, GA, where she developed her talent for design and eye for color by decorating her own homes. When she and her family recently relocated to Ohio, Darlene once again enthusiastically embraced the challenge of decorating her new home.

Darlene’s career choice was to do something she loves….decorate the homes of others. As she reflects, “My passion for creating a beautiful and functional home environment for my family inspired me to make interior decorating my career.” As a certified redesigner, Darlene is most concerned with helping her clients identify and articulate their functional needs, personal style preferences and financial requirements.

“My goal as a decorator,” explains Darlene, “is to use my skills and talents in a way that helps clients achieve a look that reflects their taste.” The result is an array of clients who now truly love their homes!

In addition to decorating, Darlene is an active member of Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church, were she serves on the Children’s Ministry team. She also serves as a Girl Scout troop leader and an assistant cheerleading coach for little league football. She enjoys gardening, boating and spending time with her husband Mark and their three children; Christian, Chandler and Carson.
